We still want to urge everybody to fill out a pledge card. If you cannot make a monetary pledge at this time, please mark on the back of the pledge form that you will pray for our parish – That is a pledge. Our goal is to hear from 100% of our registered families. Follow up letters were mailed on December 6th. We will
also be calling families who have not made a pledge. If you have already made a pledge, we thank you.

We ask that families who have not made a pledge to pray and reflect on what they can thankfully pledge for the upcoming year to continue the life-giving work of our parish ministries. You may drop your pledge card in the offering basket during mass, or mail it in to the parish office. Pledge cards are available on the Stewardship table in the narthex, and are also available on-line on our website here.

Welcome Message From Fr. Jim Coyne

Dear Friend,

As pastor, I want to welcome you to our online community. If you are searching for a spiritual home, we hope you consider St. John’s.

Our parish is located south of Seattle, and has more than 1100 registered families. We are a Roman Catholic community that challenges itself to be a family of hospitality and life-giving worship, and we are committed to taking the gospel of Jesus Christ out into the world.

The collective mission of our parish community allows the diversity of gifts to be used to answer Christ’s call to proclaim and live the Gospel through:

  • Worship -  Live out the dignity and giftedness of our baptismal call through prayer, devotion and through full, active and conscious participation in the mass.

  • Evangelization - Bring people closer to Christ, and to each other, through the testimony of our words and witness of our lives.

  • Apostolic Formation -  Create and nurture faith formation and support the discernment and use of our God-given gifts.

  • Service -  Share our spiritual gifts, resources and talents with our parish, our community, and our world through charitable action and social justice

These are just a few of the offerings you will find at St. John’s. Please accept my invitation to join us for any of our liturgies.

May God always bless you,
Fr. Jim Coyne

We are still accepting donations for our sister parish in Guatemala -
Union de las Aldeas Corpus Christi.

Now that we have built ventilated built-in stoves throughout the villages,
it is time to move onto the next challenge - Housing.

Click
here or on the picture above to learn more and watch the video shown at Mass.

As of September 5, 2010 we have raised over $19,000 toward our goal of $20,000.  There is still time to donate!  See the Guatemala table in the narthex for details and envelopes.
